New Charges Filed Against Edmond Man Accused Of Child Sex Crimes In Kenya

Court documents filed in the US District Court Tuesday showed an Edmond man was indicted on additional counts of child sex crimes connected to a mission trip to Kenya.

Documents showed Matthew Durham faces 17 new charges total.

Eight counts of Engaging in Illicit Sexual Conduct in Foreign Places were filed.

Eight counts of Aggravated Sex Abuse with a Child were filed.

And one count of Travel with Intent to Engage In Illicit Sexual Conduct was filed.

Previous charges were filed against Durham regarding abuse to children in Kenya as young as five years old, both girls and boys.

A total of 24 complaints were previously filed against Durham.
