The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake near Enid Monday evening.
The 3.1 magnitude earthquake shook the area three miles southeast of Enid and 40 miles northwest of Guthrie at 10:52 p.m., according to the USGS.
The earthquake was more than three miles deep.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
