The Edmond Police Department determined the dollar amount of the pot found in a home on the 1300 block of Jamestown in the Copperfield addition last Friday.

Police said most of the 268 plants were fully grown, but some were still seedlings. The plants were handed over to the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics to be destroyed, Edmond police said. The day of the bust, authorities said they found approximately 500 plants.

The street value of the 268 plants was estimated at $850,000. Authorities said this amount was based off “the face that one fully grown plant can produce between one to one and a half pounds of sellable marijuana.” The current street value per pound of marijuana was also considered.

The investigation in to the suspects was still underway Monday.
