An earthquake shook residents of Crescent, Okla., in Logan County, Saturday morning.

The 4.2 magnitude quake struck at approximately 8:21 a.m.

Its epicenter was located 12 miles north of Crescent, 19 miles north northwest of Guthrie, and 25 miles southeast of Enid at a depth of over two miles.

No injuries or damages have been reported at this time.

According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
