Two 3.3 Magnitude Earthquakes Hit Oklahoma

An earthquake shook up residents near Helena, Okla., in Alfalfa County, and a second earthquake was recorded near Medford, Friday afternoon.

An earthquake shook up residents near Helena, Okla., in Alfalfa County, and a second earthquake was recorded near Medford, Friday afternoon.

The first 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 3:54 p.m. Its epicenter was located nine mile east southeast of Helena, 15 miles west northwest of Enid, and 56 miles northwest of Guthrie.

The second 3.3 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 4:28 p.m. Its epicenter was located ten miles south southeast of Medford, 22 miles north northeast of Enid, and 32 miles west of Ponca City.

No injuries or damages have been reported.
