Warm And Windy Thursday; Cool Front Moves In Overnight

It's mild and windy Thursday morning with mostly clear skies. 

Later today, we will warm up into the low 80s under mostly sunny skies. Winds will stay southerly most of the day 10-20 mph this morning…decreasing to 5-15 mph later today. 

We do have a 20 percent chance for a storm later this afternoon, but the best opportunity for storms will be well east of I-35 and even better in Arkansas and Missouri. 

A cool front moves in overnight and will bring us a cool 50 degrees for the overnight temperature and north winds. Those north winds pick up on Friday -- 20-30 mph -- with mostly sunny skies and a high near 63 to lead into Easter weekend.
