New Buyer Makes Offer On OKC's Historic Gold Dome

Local developer and founder of Land Run commercial real estate Johnathan Russell confirms he is under contract to buy the Gold Dome.

Russell told News 9 he doesn't know yet what they will do with the building.

“Since we are a retail developer that's their first reaction,” he said.

Russell says they see the Gold Dome and the booming Uptown 23rd street area as a great opportunity.

“We are looking at ideas to see what can work with that area.”
