An Oklahoma City man was arrested on Tuesday, accused of possessing and distributing child pornography.
Edmond Police arrested 33-year-old Matthew Duvall at his apartment in the 14000 block of northwest OKC early Tuesday morning. Duvall's arrest comes after nearly two months of undercover investigation into the sharing of child pornography over the internet.
An undercover officer was able to direct connect with a computer to download photos and video of various child sex crimes. The officer then got a court order requesting the subscriber information from AT&T. AT&T responded, identifying the user as Duvall.
According to police, while they were conducting their arrest Duvall admitted to downloading the images and video because he was “curious”.
Duvall was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of Possession of Child Pornography, one count of Distribution of Child Pornography, and one count of Violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act. His bond was set at $22,000.
