Norman Investigators: Unknown If Severe Weather And Fatal Crash Were Related

Norman police have released the identity of a man who died on March 25 in a crash involving a power pole.

Around 7:33 p.m., authorities said 52-year-old Marvin Secord died after crashing into a utility pole near the 2900 block of E. Robinson. Secord was driving a pickup and authorities said they don't know why he went off the road.

Investigators said this happened while the area was experiencing storms, but the relation to the crash is still being investigated.
