Crews Battle Grass Fire Near Yukon

Crews successfully extinguished a grass fire in a rural area on the east side of Yukon, Monday evening.

Firefighters from Yukon and Oklahoma City were called out to battle the blaze, which flared up in the 10000 block of NW 34th St. in Yukon, near the intersection of NW 36th St. and Sara Rd.

It is unclear how the fire was started. No homes or property were damaged.
