A homeless man out of Texas was arrested for allegedly masturbating while sitting next to a teenage girl at Harkins theatres in downtown Oklahoma City over the weekend.

OKC Police were called out to a disturbance at the theater just after 10 p.m. on Friday where they noticed a large crowd gathered in the lobby. As the officers made their way inside they saw two men restraining a third man on the floor. Police identified the man being restrained as 41-year-old Israel Ramirez of Laredo, Texas.

One of the men restraining Ramirez identified himself as an off-duty police officer and told police that Ramirez had been masturbating inside the theater. The other man holding Ramirez down identified himself as the father of the girl beside whom Ramirez was accused of masturbating.

After conducting interviews, the officers learned that the girl, her father and his girlfriend were all at the theater watching a movie when Ramirez sat in the chair next to the teen. During the movie, the teen “heard some movement” and looked over to see Ramirez fondling himself with his penis outside of his pants. The girl told her father's girlfriend, who then told the father.

The father confronted Ramirez and began pushing him out of the movie into the hallway where the off-duty officer then got involved. The two struggled with Ramirez and held him down until police arrived.

Ramirez was placed under arrest for Indecent Exposure, but refused to give police his identification. He continued to tell police his name was Rodolfo. The only ID he had in his possession was a shelter ID card that had the name “Rodolfo Ramirez”.

It wasn't until police took his fingerprints at the county jail where police learned his name was in fact Israel Ramirez. There police also learned that Ramirez had several warrants out for his arrest on various moving violations, including speeding, improper lane change, and driving under suspension, as well as obstructing an officer.

He was then booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of Indecent Exposure as well as the outstanding warrants. His bond was set at $2,500.
