The Oklahoma baseball team was limited to just two hits in a 7-2 loss at Baylor on Saturday afternoon. The Sooners, riding a season-high three-game losing streak, dropped to 17-12 overall and dipped to 2-3 in the Big 12. The Bears improved to 12-14 and 4-4.

Oklahoma grabbed a 2-0 lead in the top of the first as sophomore shortstop Sheldon Neuse delivered two runs to the plate with a two-out triple to right-center.

Baylor produced three runs in the fourth, all with two outs, against OU sophomore right-hander Alec Hansen. Right fielder Kameron Esthay cut the deficit to one with a single to left field and catcher Matt Menard put the Bears in front with a two-run single up the middle.

Hansen got into trouble again in the seventh as he hit back-to-back batters and was relived with one out and two on. Four runs would come in for Baylor in the innings, including a two-RBI knock from first baseman Aaron Dodson. All three hits for BU in the inning came with two outs.

Hansen (3-3) went 6.1 innings in the loss and allowed five runs, only two of which were earned, on six hits, one walk and three hit batsmen. He struck out eight as the OU pitching staff totaled 11 for the day.

Right-hander Drew Tolson (1-5) became the second-straight Baylor pitcher to toss a complete game. He surrendered just two hits and two walks, while striking out seven.

Menard finished the game going 2-for-3 with three RBI. The Bears totaled 11 hits, all of which were singles, and had five players record multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4 day from shortstop Hayden Ross.

The series finale gets underway Sunday afternoon at 1 p.m.
