Expelled OU Student At Center Of Racist Video To Hold Media Briefing

A former OU student seen in a video chanting racial slurs will address the media on Wednesday.

Levi Pettit was a member of OU's fraternity Sigma Alpha Epsilon (SAE) and was at the center of the viral video.

State Senator Anastasia A. Pittman, D-Oklahoma City, chair of the Oklahoma Black Caucus and University of Oklahoma alumna, said she has spoken with Levi Pettit and his family a number of times following what she called disgraceful behavior caught on tape.

The media briefing will be held at Fairview Missionary Baptist Church, 1700 NE 7th Street in Oklahoma City beginning at 4 p.m.
