Car Crashes Into Apartment In SW OKC; No One Injured

A driver lost control of his car and slammed into an apartment complex, barely missing the woman inside.

It happened Monday night in the 500 block of S.W. 93rd near Walker. The driver said he was having car troubles, and the next thing he knew, he was off the road, inside someone's living room.

The car slammed into a corner home at the Brookwood Village Apartments. The crash took out an entire wall. The driver said his car was giving him problems and the gas pedal somehow got stuck. That's when he hit the building.

"I heard a lot of glass shattering, so I jumped up and came in there and was like. I've never seen anything like that," Vidella Batchelor said.

Batcherlor said she was on the couch and got up to go to bed. Twenty minutes later was when the car came through her living room. She's okay and is now staying with her son.

The driver of the car was also uninjured.
