A man is recovering at OU Medical Center after suffering a head trauma in a motorcycle crash late Wednesday night in northwest Oklahoma City.

It happened about 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in a neighborhood near N.W. 164th and Fenwick Boulevard, Police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.

Randem Evans, 36, and his wife were riding their motorcycle northbound in a neighborhood when the motorcycle fell to its side.

Evans was not wearing a helmet, because he gave the helmet and a protective jacket to his wife. He suffered head injuries and was taken to OU Medical Center.

Evans remains in critical condition Thursday afternoon.
