A 10-hour police standoff ended early Wednesday morning after a suspect was taken into custody in southwest Oklahoma City.

A 10-hour police standoff ended early Wednesday morning after a suspect was taken into custody in southwest Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City police said a tact team was called to respond to a home near S.W. 23rd Street and Brookline Tuesday evening. 

A bail bondsman was trying to take a suspect, later identified as 41-year-old Bruce Cass, into custody on a felony assault and battery warrant. However, Cass ran back inside a home in the area and refused to come outside. 

Police said the standoff started at about 6 p.m. and Cass had a gun inside the home.

Cass was eventually taken into custody at about 3 a.m.. No one was injured.
