Police Search For Suspect After Chase In NW OKC

Oklahoma City police are looking for one person after officers tried to pull a vehicle over in northwest Oklahoma City.

Officers tried to stop a vehicle Sunday afternoon near NW 63 and Lake Hefner Parkway. When officers were able to stop the vehicle, one person ran from police, a police spokesman said.

Officers and Air One are searching areas east of Lake Hefner Parkway near Wilshire Boulevard and May Avenue. Right now, police only describe the suspect as a white male, possibly in his 30s. 

One person is being detained by officers, but it is unknown if the person will be arrested.
