One person is dead after a multi-vehicle crash on I-35 Northbound in Moore, Oklahoma. Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper says a vehicle was traveling the wrong way down the highway.

Around 11:45 p.m., Saturday March 14, emergency crews were called to a crash scene at I-35 Northbound 5th Street.

An Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper said a vehicle driven by 21-year-old Connor Otis, of Norman, was traveling southbound in the northbound inside lane while another vehicle was traveling northbound in the northbound inside lane. The two vehicles struck head on.

Otis' car continued to travel, departed the roadway, struck the concrete barrier wall as well as a third vehicle. The debris from that collision hit a fourth car.

Otis was transported to OU Medical in critical condition and the passenger of the vehicle refused treatment at the scene.

The driver of the second vehicle, 42-year-old Starla Garcia, of San Antonio, TX, was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the head on collision. The passenger, 39-year-old Dalana Tyler, was transported to OU Medical in good condition.

Both drivers of the third and fourth vehicles involved in the crash were not taken to the hospital.

The crash is still under investigation at this time.
