An Oklahoma City gun range said it was targeted by a white collar thief.

A man in a business suit stole several accessories from a vendor at Wilshire Gun Range and left behind evidence of his crime.

The theft happened in a large room inside the range where Oklahoma Machine Guns rents out space.

They lock up all the guns and had never worried about someone stealing the smaller stuff.

Luckily, the store has high-definition cameras that caught the whole thing.

“It wasn't a character you would think would try to take items from your store, we just weren't expecting it,” said shop owner Steve Hazelwood.

Hazelwood had just opened Oklahoma Machine Guns for the morning inside Wilshire Gun Range.

He was putting guns out and restocking, never imagining a crime was happening under his nose.

“Most of our customers are law-abiding citizens so to see someone actually steal a product from us is very surprising,” Hazelwood told News 9.

You can see the man in the video taking charging handles off the wall and placing them on a nearby cart.

He even chatted with Hazelwood at one point, then as he left, he swiped the stuff off the cart and headed to the range lobby.

Over the course of ten minutes, he took the charging handles out of the plastic packaging, then took off with $150 worth of stolen stuff.

Hazelwood did not realize what had happened until employees found the torn packaging in the lobby and he went back to watch the surveillance video.

“We were expecting maybe a younger individual that probably couldn't afford it, but to see him, he was in a suit, just we did not expect that,” Hazelwood explained.

The thief even fooled the 125-pound shop dog.

“He just sniffed him, apparently he has got a very bad judge of character,” Hazelwood joked.

The man was so casual about the crime, Hazelwood wondered if he has done it before to other small businesses.

“He had no problem stealing from us, and so he's going to have no problem stealing from somebody else, so this guy needs to be caught,” he added.

If you recognize the man in the video, call Oklahoma City police.
