A metro doctor's medical license will remain suspended after being accused of running a “pill mill”.

In February, Dr. Harvey Jenkins went before a judge to appeal the decision by Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics to suspend his license to prescribe controlled substances.

Jenkins had been under investigation for quite some time.

His offices at Aria Orthopedics, near SW 89th Street and Western Ave. were raided, after authorities suspected he was running a “pill mill”. In which, he was accused of Medicaid fraud, overprescribing, and writing scripts for patients he didn't treat.

Thursday, March 12, the medical board ruled that Jenkins'  medical license will continue to be suspended until his next review in September.
