CUSTER COUNTY, Oklahoma -

After five days of hearing from the prosecution, the defense only needed half a day before moving to closer arguments and handing the case the jury.

The jury decided Tucker McGee is guilty of First Degree Murder. The jury recommended life without parole, but the formal sentencing will be on April 6.

Deliberate intent was placed at the center of the case against 20-year-old Tucker McGee, who is charged with the First Degree Murder of Weatherford teen JaRay Wilson.

On day six, McGee's attorney called to the stand a toxicology expert to testify that it is in the experts opinion McGee was high on synthetic marijuana, also known as K2, at the time of Wilson's murder in 2012. The expert also stated that some side effects of K2 are anxiety, agitation and hallucinations.

That was when the defense hinged its case on the bases that McGee was unable to form any deliberate intent to kill Wilson and bury her body.

Then in the closing arguments, the prosecution stated McGee was well aware of his actions because, as the district attorney said, before the crime, McGee showed the murder weapon, a .22 caliber pistol, to his friends. Then McGee shot Wilson in the head, not once, but twice and McGee lied about the crime for 14 months.

The prosecution also pointed to the evidence that McGee wrote a letter to him mom stating that he was sorry for his actions and there was no one else to blame but him.
