Monday was day five in the murder trial of Weatherford teen JaRay Wilson and the prosecution rested its case.

Three Weatherford men have been charged in connection with the murder of JaRay Wilson.

One is the defendant, Tucker McGee. The other two took the stand Monday.

Evidence in the 2012 murder of Weatherford teen, JaRay Wilson continued to mount against the defendant Tucker McGee.

McGee was charged with First Degree Murder and accused of shooting Wilson, then burying her body along a county road outside of Weatherford.

Her remains were found in December of 2013 after Cody Godfrey led investigators to the site. In the trial's fifth day, Godfrey testified.

According to our radio affiliate KWEY, while on the stand, Godfrey said the day after the murder that he helped McGee move Wilson's body and dig her grave. He said he carried Wilson's legs while McGee carried her head and torso.

Godfrey has been charged with accessory after the fact along with Caleb McLemore who also took the stand.

His testimony was likely the most damning.

McLemore testified that on the day Wilson was murdered, McGee called him for a ride. When McLemore picked up McGee, McLemore said McGee was "out of breath" and said "I shot her."

The next day, McLemore said McGee asked him for a ride back to the same location.

When McLemore picked up McGee, Godfrey was there as well and they had a shovel and gloves.

When they arrived to the spot along the county road, McLemore said McGee and Godfrey told him to come back in 15 minutes.

Days later, McLemore said McGee confessed to the murder again and poked McLemore in the head, indicating where he shot Wilson.

McLemore has pleaded guilty to his charge of accessory after the fact and is currently serving a 25-year sentence.
