Rumors are swirling around Stillwater that quarterback Daxx Garman, who started eight games in 2014 for the Cowboys, has quit the team and will look to transfer.

Oklahoma State will address Garman's possible transfer on March 9th at spring practice.

Garman made his first start in Week 3 versus UTSA after J.W. Walsh went down against Missouri State. He threw 12 touchdowns and 12 interceptions before getting a concussion at the end of a home loss to Texas.

That's when freshman Mason Rudolph took over as the starter and the rest became history. Rudolph and the Cowboy offense broke out of a slump against Baylor and, of course, he ended the season by beating Oklahoma in Norman and Washington in the Cactus Bowl.

Garman finds his place back near the bottom of the depth chart with J.W. Walsh's return from injury in 2015, not to mention the Cowboys recruitment of highly-touted quarterback John Kolar. He's set to graduate in May and could end up transferring with immediate eligibility.
