OKLAHOMA CITY -

To prove how cold it is this weekend, News 9 debuted a new anchor desk made completely of ice.

The desk was created this week by local ice sculptors from Ideas In Ice and weighs nearly 1300 pounds.

“It could be here for some time depending on the winds and weather,” said Dewey Joe Beene, Jr. from Ideas In Ice.

News 9 is asking viewers how long you think it'll continue standing outside before it begins melting. Let us know by posting your guesses on social media and using #News9OnIce.
