Firefighters have put out a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City, Thursday morning.

Firefighters have put out a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City, Thursday morning.

According to the fire department, at about 9:30 a.m., crews responded to the fire at a home in the 15000 block of Allegheny Dr., which is near May and 150th. 

Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD was over the scene. Pilot Jim Gardner reported that this fire was burning at a home in the Blue Quail Ridge neighborhood.

Pilot Jim Gardner reported that it started after a car caught fire in the garage of the home. Winds up to 30 mph made it difficult for crews to contain this fire. 

Fire officials said everyone made it out of the home safely. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
