Oklahoma State Running Backs Coach Jemal Singleton will take over the same position at Arkansas, the Razorbacks announced Wednesday afternoon. Singleton had been in Stillwater since 2011 when Mike Gundy hired him from Air Force.
Singleton will take over running back duties and coach special teams at Arkansas.
He leaves behind a group of running backs in transition at OSU. With the graduation of Desmond Roland and Tyreek Hill's dismissal, the Cowboys' only returning back with meaningful game experience is Rennie Childs. They look to improve by adding transfers Chris Carson and Todd Mays in 2015.
Singleton's departure opens up another assistant coaching vacancy in addition to Offensive Line Coach and Receivers Coach.
