The University of Oklahoma baseball team's home series against BYU scheduled to be played at L. Dale Mitchell Park this week has been moved to Las Vegas. Due to cold temperatures and the threat of snow in the weekend forecast, the games have been moved to Cashman Ballpark; the AAA home of the New York Mets.

As scheduled, the series will be played Thursday through Saturday. The two teams open on Thursday at 3:00 pm CT followed by a Friday doubleheader beginning at 3:00 pm. The series wraps up on Saturday at 1:00 pm. All times listed as central.

Oklahoma (6-4) and BYU (1-7) have met six times with the Sooners holding a 5-1 advantage in the all-time series. The two teams have yet to play at one another's home facility. In 1976, OU and BYU played twice in Las Vegas as the Sooners registered a pair of wins on the way to a school record 62 wins and an appearance in the College World Series.

Oklahoma is scheduled to return home for a midweek game against Arkansas-Little Rock on March 3 followed by a three-game home series against Purdue, March 6-8.
