Two Caught With Stolen Mail Belonging To 23 OKC Victims
OKLAHOMA CITY - Two people were arrested after an officer saw them taking mail from a mailbox in a northwest Oklahoma City neighborhood.
According to the probable cause affidavit, an officer watched Joshua Murphy, 19, stick his hand in a mailbox and stuff the envelopes under his hoodie, then put them back in the mailbox and run to a vehicle driven by 28-year-old Amanda Hill.
The officer said Hill immediately pulled into a residence at N.W. 21st and Independence, where the officer made contact with the two suspects.
The officer said a package and miscellaneous mail items were in the floor of their vehicle.
The investigation revealed the two had mail belonging to 23 different people in their possession.
Both were arrested and are in the Oklahoma County Jail.
