Brennan Clay Arrested For Allegedly Assaulting Wife

Former Oklahoma running back Brennan Clay was arrested in January for allegedly assaulting his estranged wife.

According to police reports, Clay was arrested on Jan. 27th in University Park, Texas, after his wife, Gina D'Agostini, told police he kicked down her door, threw her on the kitchen counter, dragged her downstairs and through shrubbery and began to choke her and hit her before she was able to call police.

When they arrived they noticed cuts and bleeding on her right leg and found Clay in a nearby alley. He was arrested and later bonded out of custody.

Clay went off on Twitter several months ago, claiming his wife had been having an affair with former Sooner teammate and current Dallas Cowboy DeMarco Murray. He tweeted pictures of text messages on her phone allegedly between D'Agostini and Murray who was listed under the name “Spray Tan.”
