Whether you are with or without a Valentine on this Valentine's Day, you can always find love in a furry, four-legged friend.

The Central Oklahoma Humane Society will host its annual “My Furry Valentine” free adoption event. It will take place at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the organization's Adoption Center, located at 7500 N. Western Avenue.

All animals participating in the event will be adopted out on a first-come-first-served basis. All pets will be spayed or neutered, micro-chipped and up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations.

According to the Humane Society, more than 100 dogs, cats, puppies and kittens will be available at this event. A few cats will also be available for adoption for free at the Edmond and I-240 PetSmart locations.

If you have any questions, contact the Humane Society at (405)-286-1229 ext. 4 for more information.
