Search Underway For Missing Elmore City Man

Investigators in Garvin County are searching for an Elmore City man who vanished last week. His family hopes for answers, and they're not giving up until they find him.

“I can tell you it's a mother's worst nightmare to see your kids face on one of those missing flyers,” Cindy Stubblefield said.

The face of her son, Dylan Harris, is on flyers across Garvin County. He has been missing for a week.

“He didn't have any money. Not a dime,” she said. “He didn't have clothes. He's not in a car.”

Harris took off walking from a relative's home in Elmore City and hasn't been seen or heard from since.

His family is scared, and the Garvin County Sheriff's Office has been tracking down and following up on every lead that's come in, but so far none of them have turned up anything.

“Now we're going on seven days,” Sheriff Larry Rhodes said. “That's certainly worrisome to us as well as the family in that he's never been gone this long.”

Even though Dylan is 20 years old, he's always lived with his mother, has never been away like this before and desperately needs his medication.

Without it, his family fears for his safety and hopes someone will find him and let them know he's ok.

“I just want him to come home,” his mother said. “I just want him to be safe.”
