NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Norman police are looking for a suspect who robbed a 7-Eleven store at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

According to police, at about 3 a.m., officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at 7-Eleven, located at 2401 N. Porter.

The clerk told police that he heard a customer enter the store. But when he approached the customer, the customer pointed a handgun at the clerk.

Police said the suspect then demanded money from the cash register and cigars from behind the counter. After receiving the cigars and an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect ran away from the store on foot.

The suspect was described as a black male in his mid-20s. He was wearing a black ball cap, a brown coat and a pink scarf or bandana covering the lower part of his face. His weapon was described as a black semi-automatic handgun.

No one was injured during the incident.
