Crews Contain Grass Fire Near I-35 In Logan County

Firefighters have contained a grass fire in Logan County, Oklahoma, Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters have contained a grass fire in Logan County, Oklahoma, Tuesday afternoon.

According to the fire department, crews responded to the fire at mile marker 176 on Interstate 35.

Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD was over the scene. Pilot Jim Gardner reported that this fire started on the east side of I-35 at County Road 65. It was moving north, northeast, towards County Road 64. 

The fire has burned about 100 to 125 acres. No structures were threatened. 

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control. They remain on the scene to monitor hot spots.

The cause of the fire is unclear at this time. 

Firefighters from Orlando, Mulhall, Perkins and Guthrie fire departments responded to this fire.
