Search Warrants Served, Four Arrested Before Sunrise In Guthrie

GUTHRIE, Oklahoma -

Guthrie police arrested four people bright and early on Saturday morning on drug-related charges. 

Officers had help from the Logan County Sheriff's Department in serving two unrelated search warrants after an information gave information about suspects selling drugs at the residence at 5:56 a.m.

The first search warrant was served on the 200 block of E. Springer Avenue in Guthrie. 

Darnelle Trivelle Thomas, 27, and Janae L. Ann Grossardt, 22, were taken into custody and booked into the Logan County Jail awaiting arraignment on possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute near a park, maintaining a dwelling for selling a controlled dangerous substance, receiving, concealing or engaging proceeds from a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia.

Less than an hour after serving another search warrant, authorities in Guthrie arrested two more people for drug-related charges Saturday morning.

At 6:41 a.m. on the 1200 block of E. Springer Avenue Brian Darnell Haynes, 34, and Salenia Debra Durant, 28, were arrested for possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute near a school, maintaining a dwelling for selling a controlled dangerous substance, receiving, concealing or engaging proceeds from a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia. Another charge was added because two children were located inside the home. Both are facing a charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a child under 12 years old.

The Oklahoma Department of Human Services placed the kids with a family member.

Haynes and Durant were booked into the Logan County Jail awaiting arraignment.
