A 5th grade teacher at Tulsa Public Schools has been arrested for misdemeanor driving under the influence of alcohol.

Lorie Anne Dubay was taken to jail Thursday night after she drove through someone's front yard and crashed into two parked vehicles, according to police.

Officers were called to the 3000 block of South Hudson Avenue and found Dubay still sitting her wrecked car, according to an arrest report. The arresting officer said he asked her what happened.

"I was at the casino and drinking," she reportedly answered. "I guess I'm going to jail."

The officer said she had blood shot eyes and smelled of alcohol. Arrest records say she had a blood alcohol content of .14 percent.

A Tulsa Public Schools spokesperson confirmed the 45-year-old woman works at Cooper Elementary School.
