Oklahoma City police released surveillance video Tuesday of an armed man as he approached the counter at the Dollar General Store near S.W. 59th Street and May Avenue Monday night.

In the video, he rounded the corner wearing a leather jacket and a hoodie with the hood up.

At first, the clerks just thought he was a regular customer, until he flashed his gun.

That was when the clerks backed up and began listening to his demands, all while keeping their hands up and their nerves at bay.

“I'm glad he didn't shoot,” said Joan Richardson, a regular customer at that store. ”I hope they catch him!”

She was shocked the robber even risked hitting this store, since cameras were posted everywhere,

And even overhead speakers told customers and workers alike that they were recording.

Police suspected this same guy walked into the Family Dollar store near S.W. 26th Street and Walker Avenue and robbed it on Jan. 7, even with a manager right there!

In their surveillance video, he approached the clerk wearing jeans and black sweat shirt with the hood up. He handed over a drink across the counter.

But instead of handing over cash, he demanded it from the clerk and was gone as soon as he got it.

Police said he is a white male in his 40's with a scar on his right cheek.

And at one point he was seen leaving in a black Grand Marquis.

Police said they think he also hit the Braums at S.W. 39th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue last Thursday.

There, he threatened to shoot the clerk.
