DUNCAN, Oklahoma -

Authorities discover an arsenal of explosives inside a Duncan home.

The Stephens County Sheriff said investigators were actually tipped off to the explosive by the suspect himself. The suspect who is an inmate at the Stephens County Jail apparently told all during a phone call to a friend.

Deputies were alerted to the situation when they intercepted a phone call made by inmate Thomas Jordan, who was in jail for possessing a sawed-off shotgun. Jordan, allegedly asked a friend to move his explosives because he would be in a jail for a while. But, deputies got there first.

Sheriff Wayne McKinney and his deputies discovered 22 explosive devices inside the home in rural Duncan, Wednesday.

With help from OHP's Bomb Squad the pipe bombs, cricket bombs, and other explosives were safely detonated.

Investigators pulled computers, phones, and other items from the home to review and determine the suspect's intentions for the explosives.

Jordan is facing a long list of charges and is currently still being held in the Stephens County Jail.

The Stephens County Sheriff said he is actively investigating this one, because the devices were intended to do harm.
