Your 2 Cents: Westbrook's Interview Execution Needs Improvement

I'm a big fan of Thunder guard Russell Westbrook, but not of his recent snubbing of the local media in the locker room, to the point of telling one reporter he didn't like him it's unprofessional.

Here's what you had to say Gary from Stillwater first: "Kelly you hit a home run with this one. Don't know what Westbrook's problem is, but he isn't acting like a leader of the team."

Harley in Waukomis, “Well Kelly, you executed your two cents”. And my comment is, “I don't like your two cents. Not this time."

Melody writes, "Maybe the press has treated the team as a whole with kid gloves but not so much Westbrook that poor guy can't catch a break."

Penny in Enid said, "I'm a huge fan of Thunder but we don't need more disrespectful people in this world. Grow up!"

Verla from Locust Grove writes, "Petty and childish to tell a reporter "I don't like you". Maybe when you're 5-years-old."

But Lydia argues, "He plays so hard and wants to do so good, but criticizing him time after time, you can't blame him for acting like a child."

I agree, he has the heart of a lion on the court.

"Thunder fans spend millions of dollars on merchandise and tickets, oh and we help pay Westbrook's salary, suck it up buttercup!"

“You're a public figure too Mr. Ogle., respected in Oklahoma, as is Westbrook. Don't be so quick to condemn a minor irritation, lest you might offend some of us."

I'd say it's too late.
