OKC Officer Not Injured After Crashing Into Power Pole

An Oklahoma City police officer was not injured after crashing his patrol car into a power pole early Wednesday morning.

It happened just after midnight at the intersection of Wilshire and Bryant. The officer is doing just fine. 

Police told News 9 the officer crashed while he was responding to a call. He crashed his unit into a power pole, causing it to come crashing down.

Some of those lines are still down Wednesday morning, and that's caused crews to close parts Wilshire at I-35.

Investigators said it's still unclear what caused the officer to crash. At this point, his name has not been released.
