Crews Respond To Grass Fire At I-40 Near McLoud Road

McLOUD, Oklahoma -

Crews are responding to a grass fire on the north side of I-40 near McLoud Road near McLoud, Tuesday afternoon. The flames reached at least two structures; a home and a red barn. Homeowners used hoses to try and save their property.

Smoke could be seen billowing into the skies above the tree line in the area. Drivers were slowed temporarily because of heavy smoke.

The fire burned an estimated 60 acres. No injuries were reported.
