Parts Of I-40 Closed In Del City/MWC Area Due To Bridge Repairs

Parts of Interstate 40 in the Del City/Midwest City area are closed Tuesday afternoon due to bridge repairs.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, eastbound I-40 is narrowed to one lane at S.E. 15th St. and the eastbound I-40 on-ramp from Sunnylane Rd. is closed in the Del City/Midwest City area.

Crews are working to repair a 2 ft. x 2 ft. hole in the S.E. 15th St. bridge.

The closure will last until 7 p.m. Tuesday. It's expected to impact rush hour traffic.
