OKLAHOMA CITY - More than 3,200 marriage licenses have been issued to same-sex couples in Oklahoma.

The executive director of Oklahomans for Equality said licenses have been issued in 23 of Oklahoma's 77 counties since October.

That was when the US Supreme Court refused to reconsider an Oklahoma judge's ruling, striking down the ban on gay marriage.

The Supreme Court will consider legalizing same-sex marriage nationwide. Arguments will begin in April.
