There's heartbreak for a Logan County family who lost everything in Sunday's grass fires.

The fire overall damaged more than 2,000 acres and several structures.

And although the Keller family said they're thankful to be alive, they are still distraught since they've only lived here four months before Sunday's devastating fire.

"Wow. Everything I've worked my whole life for is gone,” said Andy Keller.

All that the Keller family owned literally went up in smoke Sunday, when raging grass fires broke out in Logan County.

News 9 caught up with homeowner Erin Keller on Sunday afternoon just as she was evacuating.

"We just started packing stuff. We have three cars loaded with stuff, a dog, three kids and we're headed to some friend's house," said Erin Keller.

It was only a matter of minutes before their doublewide mobile home near E. Prairie Grove Rd. and Choctaw was engulfed in flames and burnt down to the foundation.

“It's just where do you start? People call and say, ‘What do you need?' And I don't know what I need. I lost everything. I'm still trying to figure out what we need," said Andy.

Friends, family and church members and came to their aid.

“We found odds and ends not much but at least some."

Sifting through the rubble, the group didn't find much except for a wedding ring. The family did save a pair of clothes, blankets and pictures, but they have three daughters and they're all home school though now they have no home.

“Providing for them, getting all their stuff back is all that matter," Andy said.

But even in the worst devastation, the family plans to rebuild.

"That's Oklahoma. We help each other out and we do all the we can for each other that's why I'll never leave. You can't go anywhere else in the country and get this."

The family is now staying in a hotel.

Friends have set up an account to help the family get back on their feet.
