Minco Students Back To Class After Record Number Of Sick Calls

MINCO, Oklahoma -

Minco Public Schools resumed classes despite the federal holiday, Monday. Superintendent Kevin Sims said he wanted to get a jumpstart on making up the missed days because of the flu, strep throat outbreak among students and staff.

Sims estimated a total of 100 students and staff members were sick last week. That was a record for the school. There are about 600 students in the district.
