NORMAN, Oklahoma -

Police in Norman are investigating a reported shooting that allegedly took place in a residential neighborhood just after noon on Monday.

Police officers responded to the scene in the 100 block of E. Mosier St. at 12:09 p.m. Two young adult males told the officers that they were walking down the street when a dark vehicle drove by and fired several shots at them.

Neither man was hit by any of the shots. Neighbors in the area have confirmed hearing gunfire and seeing a vehicle flee the scene. One of the male victims was transported to the hospital for a minor injury unrelated to the gunshots.

Detectives with the Norman Police Department of Criminal Investigations Division are handling the case. If you have any additional information, please contact police.
