The United States Geological Survey (USGS) reported an earthquake near Helena, Okla., in the early hours of Saturday.

The 3.4 magnitude quake shook the area four miles east northeast of Helena, 21 miles northwest of Enid, and 61 miles west of Ponca City just after 12:30 a.m.

The earthquake was about three miles deep.

There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this earthquake.

According USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
