A wild, high-speed chase through the streets of Enid was all caught on dash camera. The driver flew through a school zone as school let out Thursday afternoon. Authorities said the suspect hasn't had a valid driver's license in five years, but that didn't stop him from trying to outrun police in his daughter's Ford Mustang.

Timothy Broomfield tried to run from police. It all started with a drug investigation. Police had their eye on Broomfield's home, and when he left home, officers tried to pull him over when he didn't use a blinker. Broomfield wasn't having that and gunned it, even losing police at one point during the chase, but not for long.

“They later caught back up with him again in the pursuit, and at that time he continued trying to lose them over in the east sector of Enid in a residential neighborhood,” Enid Police Captain Jack Morris said. “At that time he was doing speeds of 70 to 80 miles an hour.”

Police decided it was time to let the air out of his tires and his getaway and put out stop sticks.

“It was very clear that he wasn't going to stop at all,” Morris said. “Officers were at different locations, and he would gun his car as he was coming at them in a sense to make them think ‘If you're going to pull in front of me, I'm going to hit you.'”

Not only did Broomfield blow through police stop sticks, but he also blew through an elementary school zone just as school was dismissing for the day.

At this point Broomfield was running on three flat tires, and as those tires were dwindling, so was his speed. Broomfield stuck his hands out of the window and then finally gave up. Inside his pocket, police found a good stash of cash. Inside his home, where police got a warrant to search, they found meth, adding additional charges to the several charges he already faced.
