Former State Education Superintendent Janet Barresi left office Monday after a flurry of new hires and promotions, 13 new hires since she lost re-election and 9 promotions.

She left the new Superintendent in a tough spot.

Here's what you had to say about it.

Jeannette first: "Any of those people taking those promotions/positions should be smart enough to know they may not last."

Terry from Tulsa says: "Barresi left the Oklahoma educational system in a tough spot!"

From Donna in Lexington: "What kind of person does that sort of thing when the education system is already short on funds"

Christina in Thomas says: "I am not surprised. My biggest fear is what is next with the new one. Oklahoma schools need help. It is embarrassing."

Leah writes: "She knew what she was doing. I agree a law needs to be made so outgoing people can't make changes."

Randal in Moore: "Either she is very vindictive or she really is dumb I don't know which is worse"

Genie from Edmond says: "All while State Teachers haven't had a cost of living raise since 2008."

Finally, Carl writes: "Anyone surprised? That's why she is out."
