Tulsa Police have identified a person of interest in a shooting late Wednesday.

Police Sergeant Dave Walker says they want to talk with Johnny Ingram, 40, of  Tulsa.  He says the victim was shot in the head and chest during  an argument over his girlfriend at a home in the 1600 block of North Cheyenne just before 11 p.m.

Police say the victim and Ingram along with a third man got into an argument over the victim seeing Ingram's sister. The sister told police her brother and her boyfriend did not like each other and began yelling and fighting. After she went back inside the home, she heard gunshots and found her boyfriend lying on the ground shot twice with a small caliber handgun.

EMSA took the victim to the hospital. Police say the victim was talking to officers en route to the hospital.  He underwent surgery and police believe he will survive.

Police said Ingram and two other men were last seen riding away from the home in a white pickup truck.  Walker said they have not yet determined who fired the gunshots which hit the victim.

Officers have not released the name of the victim.

If you know anything about the incident or where Johnny Ingram is to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
