Light Rain Lingers, Cold Front Arrives Saturday In Oklahoma

A slow moving storm system continues to spin across the southern plains. Areas of light rain will stay a part of the forecast Friday evening and overnight. Rain should eventually come to an end early Saturday morning with temperatures staying just above freezing. We only have a slight chance of seeing the light rain briefly switch to flurries before moving completely out. This will help prevent widespread slick roads, but slick spots may still be possible.

Skies stay cloudy on Saturday with highs climbing to the upper 30's. A cold front comes through late Saturday night bringing temperatures crashing into the upper teens by Sunday morning. We shouldn't make it out of the upper 20's on Sunday, despite mostly sunny skies.

Next week is looking a lot quieter, but still cold with highs staying on average around 10 degrees below normal.
